Big News for Fort Collins Trail Users!

Construction is officially underway on the Power Trail Harmony Crossing project, a long-awaited improvement that will close the final gap in the Power Trail between Golden Meadows Park and Keenland Drive.

The highlight of the project is a new underpass beneath Harmony Road, creating a safer, more direct route for cyclists and pedestrians. Once complete, the Power Trail will offer a continuous paved connection from Trilby Road to the Spring Creek Trail, better linking south Fort Collins to the city’s broader trail network.

Work began on November 12 and will continue through spring 2027. Early construction focuses on the underpass, followed by new trail segments along the Union Pacific Railroad corridor.

What to Expect During Construction

• Shoulder closures and median work on Harmony Road (between McMurry Ave. and Timberline Rd.) in November and December

• Limited tree removal on the south side of Harmony Road
